MindTheClub is completely free today, and if you join now, our pledge is to keep it that way for you.
We are at the very beginning. Right now our goal is simple: get MindTheClub into the hands of people who care about truly private, peer-to-peer messaging, and learn from them. The people who show up at this early stage are the reason the project exists, and we want to recognise that.
Will MindTheClub always be free?
We want to be honest with you, because we would rather tell you now than surprise you later. In the future we may introduce a subscription for new users, to help keep the project sustainable and independent. We have no date and no price for this yet, and nothing changes for the foreseeable future. The app stays free as you use it today.
Our promise to early adopters
If you install MindTheClub during this early period, our pledge is that you stay free, for as long as you keep using the app. If a subscription ever arrives, it is meant for people who join later, not for the founding members who believed in this first.
Think of it as a thank-you. You are taking a chance on a young, independent project, and that means a great deal to us. We would much rather reward early trust than charge the people who helped us get started.
Why we are telling you this now
Plenty of apps start free and quietly add a fee later, leaving people feeling caught out. We do not want that. By being upfront from the very first day, you can decide with full information, and there are no bad surprises down the road. The honest version is the only version we are interested in.
So the best moment to join is simply now: try it with your friends, see if it is for you, and lock in your place as a founding member while the door is open.
